ประโยคแรก พูดถึง โทรทัศน์ กับ คนทั่วไป (general)
ประโยคที่สอง พูดถึง เนื้อหาของโทรทัศน์ กับ เด็ก ซึ่งเป็นวงที่แคบลง เฉพาะเจาะจงมากขึ้น (specific)
ประโยคสุดท้าย เป็น thesis statement บ่งบอกว่าในเรียงความนี้เราจะพูดถึงเหตุผลที่เห็นด้วยและไม่เห็นด้วยกับ statement
