เทคนิคการแต่งประโยคอธิบาย Line Graph
มีโครงสร้างประโยค 2 แบบ
1. [Number of ...] + verb + adverb
2. There was a + adjective + noun + in [number of ...]
โครงสร้าง 1: [Number of ...] + verb + adverb
| เพิ่มขึ้น increased / ascended / soared / surged rose / grew / climbed / jumped went up / moved upward ลดลง decreased / dropped / dipped / declined went down / fell plunged / plummeted (ดิ่งลงเยอะ) |
ปริมาณของการเปลี่ยนแปลง - dramatically - vastly / hugely / enormously - substantially / considerably / significantly - moderately - slightly / a little ความเร็วของการเปลี่ยนแปลง - rapidly / quickly / swiftly - gradually / continuously - slowly |

ตัวอย่าง
The popularity of swimming rose dramatically by 5% from 1990 to 2000. (เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมาก)
The number of visits of London dropped gradually from 10% to 7%. (ค่อยๆลดลง)

** หมายเหตุ **
- โครงสร้าง 2 เป็น การสลับเอา Subject ของโครงสร้าง 1 มาไว้หลัง in
- adverb ของโครงสร้าง 1 ถูกเปลี่ยนเป็น adjective ของโครงสร้าง 2
- verb ของโครงสร้าง 1 ถูกเปลี่ยนเป็น noun ของโครงสร้าง 2
